PETER RICHARDS
Co-Founder and Portfolio Manager

Mr. Richards has over 15 years of experience in technology equity research, including 13 years as a portfolio manager. For the past 13 years, Mr. Richards and Mr. Fine have jointly managed the portfolio at Empire Capital. Mr. Richards and Mr. Fine retain joint authority over stock selection and trading decisions, leveraging a research team of five additional analysts focused on individual sub-sectors. Additionally, Mr. Fine and Mr. Richards equally co-own the General Partner. Prior to forming Empire Capital in 1996, Mr. Richards was a technology research analyst supporting a long-only diversified portfolio at The Travelers Group. From 1992 to 1994, he was a financial analyst at Morgan Stanley in the investment banking division where he was trained in quantitative model-building. Mr. Richards received an A.B. in American History from Harvard University.
